Tepmetko is a kinase inhibitor approved for the treatment of adult patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) harboring MET exon 14 skipping alterations, as confirmed by an FDA-approved test.

Recommended Dosage:

  • 450 mg once daily (2 × 225 mg tablets) with food

  • Take at the same time daily

  • Do not crush, chew, or split the tablets

  • If vomiting occurs, skip the dose and resume the next scheduled dose

  • Skip any missed dose if it’s less than 8 hours from the next one
  • Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD)/Pneumonitis: Can be fatal. Monitor for respiratory symptoms and promptly assess any new/worsening cough, dyspnea, or fever.

  • Liver Toxicity: Monitor liver enzymes (ALT, AST, bilirubin) before and regularly during treatment. Interrupt dose if elevated.

  • Fetal Harm Risk: May harm an unborn baby. Use effective contraception during treatment and for 1 week after the last dose.

  • Breastfeeding: Not recommended during and for 1 week after final dose due to potential risk to the infant.

  • Drug Interactions: Inform your doctor of all other medications, including OTC and herbal supplements.
