Fotivda is a kinase inhibitor used for the treatment of relapsed or refractory advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC) in adult patients who have received two or more prior systemic therapies.
Recommended Dosage:
- 1.34 mg once daily for 21 days followed by 7 days off
- Repeat in 28-day cycles until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity
- Swallow whole with water, with or without food
- Do not open, crush, or split the capsule
- If a dose is missed, resume at the next scheduled time (no double dosing)
Hypertension: Monitor blood pressure regularly during treatment
Dysphonia & Hypothyroidism: May occur in treated patients; regular thyroid function monitoring advised
Hepatotoxicity & Fatigue: Common adverse events; adjust dosage if needed
Fetal Harm Risk: Avoid during pregnancy. Use effective contraception during treatment and for a period after the last dose
Breastfeeding Restriction: Not recommended during treatment and for some time after due to potential serious adverse effects
