Tivdak is a tissue factor-directed antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) approved for the treatment of:
- Adult patients with recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer whose disease has progressed on or after chemotherapy
Recommended Dosage:
- 2 mg/kg (max 200 mg) administered as a 30-minute IV infusion every 3 weeks
- Continue until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity
- Do not administer as a bolus or mix with other medications
Ocular Toxicity: Conduct ophthalmic exams (visual acuity, slit-lamp) before each dose. Ocular reactions may require dose delays or discontinuation.
Peripheral Neuropathy: Monitor for numbness, tingling, pain, or weakness. Adjust dosage based on severity.
Hemorrhage Risk: Monitor for signs of bleeding, especially CNS or pulmonary hemorrhage. Permanently discontinue if confirmed.
Pneumonitis: Life-threatening cases reported. Monitor for cough, hypoxia, dyspnea, and discontinue in severe cases.
Fetal Harm: Tivdak can cause fetal harm. Use effective contraception during treatment and for 2 months after the last dose.
Lactation: Avoid breastfeeding during treatment and for 2 months post-treatment.
