Tabrecta is a selective MET inhibitor approved for adult patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whose tumors exhibit MET exon 14 skipping alterations.

Recommended Dosage

  • 400 mg orally twice daily

  • Can be taken with or without food

  • Swallow tablets whole – do not crush, chew, or split

  • If a dose is missed or vomited, skip and take the next scheduled dose
  • Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD)/Pneumonitis: Can be fatal. Monitor for symptoms such as cough, dyspnea, or fever

  • Hepatotoxicity: Monitor ALT, AST, and bilirubin before starting and regularly during treatment

  • Fetal Harm: May cause harm to an unborn child. Use effective contraception during treatment and for 1 week after the last dose

  • Photosensitivity Risk: Advise patients to limit sun/UV exposure during treatment
