Limitations of Use:
Jesduvroq is not approved for improving fatigue, quality of life, or overall well-being. It is also not indicated for use in patients with CKD who are not on dialysis or those requiring urgent correction of anemia through transfusion.

Recommended Dosage:
Jesduvroq may be taken with or without food and without concern for concurrent use of iron or phosphate binders. Tablets must be swallowed whole and should not be cut, chewed, or crushed. Dosing is individualized and aimed at minimizing red blood cell transfusion requirements without exceeding a hemoglobin level of 11 g/dL.

In the event of a missed dose, take it as soon as possible unless the next dose is scheduled on the same day. In such cases, skip the missed dose and resume regular dosing. Avoid double dosing.

Iron Monitoring: Check serum ferritin and transferrin saturation regularly. Provide supplemental iron if levels are low.

Thrombotic Risk: Jesduvroq may increase the risk of serious blood clots including stroke, heart attack, and deep vein thrombosis. Promptly evaluate patients with symptoms.

Heart Failure Risk: Patients with existing heart failure are at greater risk of hospitalization. Evaluate risk-benefit before initiating treatment.

Uncontrolled Hypertension: Contraindicated in patients with severe or uncontrolled hypertension. Monitor blood pressure regularly.

Gastrointestinal Erosion: Increased risk of stomach or esophageal erosion. Exercise caution in patients with GI disorders or those on NSAIDs, alcohol, or tobacco.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: May harm the fetus. Do not breastfeed for at least 7 days after the final dose.
