Rezurock is a selective kinase inhibitor approved for use in adult and pediatric patients (12 years and older) with chronic graft-versus-host disease (chronic GVHD) who have not responded to at least two prior systemic therapies.
Recommended Dosage:
- 200 mg orally once daily with food
- Tablets should be swallowed whole and not crushed, split, or chewed
- Take at the same time every day with a meal
- Do not take an extra dose to make up for a missed dose
Rezurock has not been extensively studied in patients with severe renal or hepatic impairment. In such cases, healthcare providers must evaluate the risk-benefit ratio before initiating treatment.
Blood Pressure Monitoring: May increase blood pressure; patients should check BP regularly and notify their doctor if elevated.
Liver Monitoring: Liver enzymes (AST, ALT) and bilirubin should be monitored at least once a month during therapy.
Pregnancy Risk: May cause fetal harm. Effective contraception is advised for both men and women of reproductive potential during treatment.
Breastfeeding: Breastfeeding is not recommended during treatment and for at least 7 days after the final dose due to unknown risks to infants.
